So, the lovely Miss Victoria Belisle ( http://victoriambelisle.blogspot.com/ ) and I have teamed up for a very interesting project - series of collages based on old cabinet photo portraits. The pictures we've found are all from around 1890 to around 1915, and we've been having quite a bit of fun making up stories and connections for them and theming the collages around the personalities.
Both of our pieces will eventually be mounted in a show at Montserrat's Bear Gallery, although the specific date is still pending. More information to come!

They scanned so beautifully, and look so nice all laid out! I cannot wait for the show. I love how the textures in Elizabeth's look, the brown paper is just so elegant.
